And what about our Life Tutors?

What is the background of each Life Tutor?

Life Tutors have personal skills and professional backgrounds in a variety of disciplines from liberal arts to more practical disciplines. Some have business experience in non-profits or start-ups. Every Life Tutor has a Bachelor’s Degree and many have graduate or professional degrees

How long can you work with a Life Tutor?

Life Tutors work hard to create a rapport with their client. Each 8-16 week client contract is centered around meeting goals that the client establishes at the beginning. If, at the end of the contract, the client chooses to continue service with the same Life Tutor, we call that a win-win!

How are Life Tutors trained?

We use Cognitive Behavioral techniques and reinforce them with our own training process designed to better understand the people most likely to engage our services. Training is ongoing and Life Tutors check in with managers - who were first Life Tutors themselves - who have used various methodologies and achieved success with them.

How do you match a Life Tutor to a client?

We are actively onboarding Life Tutors and evaluate them based on the needs expressed by the client during the intake, as well as by the profile of the typical client. Once matched, the client has a meeting with the Life Tutor to talk through the client’s plans, goals, and long-term aspirations as well as the day-to-day plan moving forward

What if the relationship between the client and Life Tutor just doesn’t work out?
Your satisfaction with the Life Tutor is paramount to the client/coach relationship. If you are not satisfied, please contact us. We will listen to your concerns and work with you to move forward. If a transition to another coach is necessary, we will move forward on that process as soon as possible.

What if I don’t know what my goals are?

Our coaches will work with you to develop goals. Clients report boosts in confidence and skill through our persistent, regular support. Organizational and planning skills are reinforced daily to improve task attack skills. Over time and with our consistent approach, the clients’ skills develop at the clients’ pace.
